Here at River Island, we know it’s all in the jeans. (What else would your wear with your nice top?) Whether you‘re all about classic skinny jeans or can’t get enough of wide leg, we asked our girls at HQ for their top tips when it comes to styling their denim…

1. Mix up your lengths.
I love the cropped style of these jeans - dare to bear those ankles!

2. Keep things casual.
The frayed hem is perfect for those off-duty model vibes.

3. Dress them up or down.
Throw on with your go-to trainers or add a statement mule.

4. Choose a high waist.
They’re great for showing off what you’ve got (and you can wear that cute crop top.)

5. Belt it up.
It’s the only way to finish off any outfit - I’m loving O-ring belts at the minute.

1. Wear white.
Some may find it a little scary but it’s a great way to update your jeans for spring.

2. Go for a wide leg.
If skinny jeans aren’t your thing, denim culottes can be really flattering too.

3. Colour Clash.
White jeans are perfect for contrasting colours, especially these black mules!

4. Be versatile.
I could definitely see myself wearing these at the office and happy hour –no outfit change needed.

5. Add detail.
The tie waist belt is great for adding that finishing touch to the look.

1. Make a statement.
Skinny jeans are the perfect pairing with a stand-out jacket.

2. Go long.
A skinny style and heels are great for lengthening the leg if you’re petite.

3. Take a risk.
Step out of your blue jean comfort zone and try white denim. I’m loving the all-white trend!

4. Pick neutrals.
White goes with any colour so you can play around with different prints and shades.

5. Keep it chic.
Skinny jeans look effortless whether you’re wearing with your fave flats or heels.

1. Be basic.
Black skinny jeans are a wardrobe staple – they go with everything!

2. Layer up.
Wear with a long maxi coat and block heels for the ultimate brunch outfit.

3. Add texture.
Ripped jeans are my weekend essential, just throw them on and go!

4. Make them pop.
If you’re known for wearing all black, add a hint of colour with accessories.

5. Mix it up.
Style up your skinnies with an oversized tee or wear with a crop top.
