When RI Rocked The British Fashion Awards

Most people mark the start of the festive season with the first Christmas song heard on the radio or the first mince pie consumed but we kick it off with the Fashion Awards. This year we hosted a table at the 2019 Fashion Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall and we were super excited to be there, sharing space with fashion royalty. Not only did we see Naomi Campbell scoop the Fashion Icon award and Rihanna take home the Urban Luxe award, we also took and dressed seven special guests in looks that you can steal now!

Party season wardrobe? Completed it mate…

Laura Whitmore

Taking over our insta stories showing you BTS from the glam room to the red carpet and beyond, Laura Whitmore embraced the bling with this blazer dress. Can we just talk about that pink eyeshadow for a sec? Adding it to our *looks to try* mood board.

Darren Kennedy

Over on our River Island man insta stories, Darren did a little takeover in your new party uniform - a cord suit in midnight blue. Match your tie and pocket square, then add some trusty loafers. Done.

Ray BLK

Dressed in a custom (yes, custom) RI blazer dress, Ray BLK worked the red carpet like no other. Diamante detailing, lace gloves and barely-there heels added a boujee touch to the tailored silhouette. We’re inspired.

Roxy Horner

Does anything say party season like a sequin, zebra-print mini dress with an 80s power shoulder? We don’t think so. Roxy Horner shone all night in this little number and it has definitely got us in the mod for a BNO…

JP Cooper

Showing us that black tie doesn’t have to mean black suit, singer-songwriter JP Cooper worked a cord suit in forest green. Follow his lead and team a crisp white shirt with a matching green necktie to complete the look.

Sydney Lima

A power suit is always a strong choice whether you’re hitting the red carpet a la Sydney, or stealing the spotlight at your Christmas party. Take Sydney’s lead and wear the set with nothing but a bra underneath.

Sherrie Silver

Silver by name, silver by style, Sherrie made sure all eyes were on her in this little sequin number. Accessorising with (more) silver, she kept things simple letting that thigh-high slit do the talking. Obsessed doesn’t begin to cover it.
